Day 11

Well  we are on the road again. It was nice having a place to hang my collar for a few days. I was able to get outside and sit in the sun in my playhouse, but the road was beckoning.
We left Phoenix at 9:00 am and took I-10 going east. Eastern Arizona is a little desolute. I sure wouldn't want to get lost out there. There are signs at the rest stops saying beware of rattlers and scorpions. Yuck!
Today we drove 285 miles and Dad was getting 12.3 mpg . With diesel prices at $3.89 I was amazed at all the RLBs on the road. They are everywhere.  Dad tried to wash the RLB at a truck stop but that didn't go well.
We are bedding down in Lordsburg, New Mexico at a KOA. Got here around 3:00 pm. Lots of Cougars here. Not real ones just ones like us.
Until tomorrow
