Alabama has a lot of those verdant fields Dad likes. They also have some very strange names. We crossed the Chattahootchee River (remember Deliverance) and we went through Hatchechubbee. Hey I'm not making this stuff up. We finally arrived at the Uchee Creek ( I rest my case ) Campground.
Uchee Creek is suppose to be at Fort Benning which is in Georgia, but we were across the river so we were in Alabama. Not sure what time we got there because we were straddling the time zone . So it was either 3 or 4 depending on where we were standing.
This is a nice campground. We were welcomed by the camp hosts, about 30 local deer. Lost of nature around here. As a side note I would like to quote and friend of mine, Mr Monk, "Nature Dirty".
