Woke up this morning to pounding rain, thunder and lightning. I have never heard such loud thunder. I decided the safest place for me was under the covers so that is where I stayed.
It was time to leave the Lake. We were almost out of battery power on the RLB anyway so Dad got the RLB all hooked up so we could go back to Aunt Sue and Uncle Gordon's real house. When we were ready he tried to pull it out but I guess the one to two inches of rain we got overnight made all that lake land soggy cause we sank right in. Wheels were spinning and mud was flying. I went back under the covers.
Mom was standing out in the rain waving her arms and being of very little help. Dad put it in four wheel drive and said some words I'm not suppose to repeat and still nothing. Thankfully Uncle Gordon was there so he and Dad hooked us up to his rig and pulled us out.
It rained all day. Hey, maybe I'm back in Oregon.
Not only is nature dirty, nature is wet.
I'm going back under the covers.

So sorry to hear about the rain. If it helps any it has been raining here since last night and does not show any sign of letting up
