I was not sure what to expect but it was better than anything I could have imagined.
We got there around 10:00 in the morning and stayed for about ten hours. And boy did we walk. I think we must have walked about 5 miles but we didn't want to miss anything. I took about a bazillion pictures. My little picture taking paw was all worn out.
Speaking of pictures, Mom and Pop found someones very nice camera that was left on a bench. Fortunately they were able to find the people that left it. They tried to give Mom and Dad some money for finding it but the silly goofs wouldn't take it. Guess that means we'll be eating more spam.
The weather at the Grand Canyon was nearly perfect. Right around 60 degrees and lots of sunshine. There was snow on the ground but that only made it look better, if that was possible.
So I guess that's another thing Mom can cross off her bucket list. Actually Dad had it on his list too. They are talking about going back someday but I'm thinking I may have to pass that one up cause they are talking about riding donkeys down to the bottom of the canyon and spending the night and that is so not on any list I have.
Tomorrow we are heading to Las Vegas, Nevada.
I guess I better go practice my poker face.
