We have survived Las Vegas. The folks are still married (although as Dad reminded us on more than one occasion today there is always Reno) and we still have some money left. Only lost about $10 not including what Dad lost to Mom. Can you believe it he just lost another $20 to her today. Will he ever learn?
We pulled up stakes at 9:00 am and headed north on Hwy 95. Now that's a road that just goes on forever and ever. Not much out there but desert and brothels.
We passed four brothels. One was called Bikini and another was call Shady Lady. Dad called them cathouses, but I didn't see a single cat.
We drove 284 miles (getting 11.3 mpg) and put anchor down in Mina, Nv. This is a small small town in the middle of Nevada.
Not much here except a RLB park, a bar and a gas station that charges $4.49 for diesel. FYI: Dad didn't get any so we hopefully will be able to find fuel somewhere between here and Carson City. If not, looks like we will be calling this place home. Maybe we can have our own cat house?
Tomorrow we will be in Carson City, Nevada.
