Day Four

First let me apologize to all my loyal followers for being late with my postings. However you will all be happy to know that your government is not wasting money on WiFi.
We departed Santa Rosa, Ca. at 9:15 am . It was raining- how unusual.
I would like to give a big MEOW to the Family Motor Lodge for letting us par the RLB in their driveway and a special hello to my cousins Thunder and Buddy. Apparently I have lots of cousins everywhere.
We finally got off the Hwy 101 parking lot in Marin County and headed south on I-5. Lots of green fields. Dad (aka Eric) says they are verdant. Just looked green to me.
Pretty uneventful drive. We drove ( well Dad drove) 256 miles and landed at Lemoore NAS around 3:30 pm. It is out in the middle of nowhere. Lots more verdant stuff. Dad got up to 10.9 mpg - yea.
We were treated in the evening to "The Sound of Freedom" as fighter jets trained overhead.

We are really roughing it now. No cable tv and no WiFi but it also had no RAIN. I may even venture outside.
