We drove 153 miles from the middle of nowhere to get here and Dad was getting 11.6 mpg. After paying an all time high of $4.39 for diesel, whenever he sees it for $4.25 he says " Hey that's a good price ". I guess everything is relative.
We went through a very Red, White and Blue town called Hawthorne. Lots of patriotism there.
They must really like animals here. Just outside of Carson City we saw another one of those houses for cats.
It was called the Love Ranch and then we saw one called the Moonlight Bunny Ranch. Dad wanted to stop and check out the "bunnies" but Mom said no. I guess no playmate for me (or Dad).
We are staying at The Gold Dust West RV park here. They have a big building here called a casino. I guess that is where you go to clean out your wallet cause Dad's was empty when they came home last night.
They had a prime rib dinner there for $7.77 or you could get it free if you used your membership card in something called a "one armed bandit ". Being the thrifty person Dad went for the free one. It cost him $16.00. I'm still trying to figure out the math on that one,
We will be here one more day, unless Dad goes back for another dinner.

I hope you find a house there you like, at least you would be closer.
