Day 54 Last Day

I'm home, I'm home.
We only had 120 miles to drive today and can you believe it, it took almost five hours.  They had to stop at Camping World and then Mom wanted a Starbucks, and of course then they had to dump the "litter box" .  You gotta be kidding me. But the upside is:
We're home,  We're home.
Now that we are home I just want to say that we really had a great trip ( just don't tell the folks I said that ).
Even though we spent ( and by we I mean they ) just over $3000 on fuel and $1150 on campsites it was well worth it. Just think of all we did. We drove 8700 miles through 14 states ( some of them twice ) and saw some amazing sights. On top of all that we got to visit with some old friends and spend some really great time with family. Plus Mom got to check two things off her Bucket List.
So here are some of my observations. And remember I'm only a cat.
Favorite State: Tennessee
Favorite Military Campground:  Arnold AFB, Tullahoma, Tn
Favorite Civilian Campground:  7 Feathers, Canyonville, Or
Best Roads: Arizona
Worst Roads: Arkansas
Best Attraction: Grand Canyon
Best Destination: Tennga, Ga (my ancestral home)
Best Starbucks: San Antonio, Tx
Best Weather:  Phoenix, Az
Best Ducks:  Parrotsville, Tn.

So now that it's all over I hope y'all enjoyed it with us.
I'm going to bed now.
See ya

  2. Finally Weezie,
It has been a long trip for me also due to the stress of translating Mona’s messages to you. We are happy that you and your chauffeurs had a good time. We enjoyed looking at your cross country trip through your blog. Till the next trip.
    Adios,
    Richard
