Last day of our trip ( oh thank goodness) and what did we get? Rain of course.
We woke up to rain and it pretty much rained all day. We did a little break here and there but not enough to put on my bikini and lay on the beach.
We drove around a little today and saw some of the area. We drove to Taholah
which is on the Quinault Indian Reservation, also that is where the Quinault River
empties into the Pacific Ocean . We then drove through the town of Moclips which is near the town of Pacific Beach . We also drove through Seabrook which is near Pacific Beach which is near Moclips.
That took about an hour of our day so then we came back to the RLB and Dad read the paper and Mom and I watched Murder She Wrote. The excitement doesn’t end there though. We then watched a movie called Hachiko, A Dogs Tale. (and spoiler alert here) Mom cried (actually sobbed hysterically) and Dad even had to get a kleenex. I am not a dog lover as you might expect but even I shed a few tears.
Once we were all able to get our emotions under control we walked down to the beach and scoped out the clam digging possibilities. There were clam holes everywhere (at least we think they were clam holes). Since it is not clam season right now up here in Washington we were unable to actually dig any up. But beware clams ….We’ll be back.
Between raindrops and getting beat, again, in scrabble Dad grilled tri tips ( not sure what a tri tip is but apparently it is the tip of something).
