Day 48 / Spring Road Trip 2012

Wisconsin
We left "The Land of Lincoln" at 0800 this morning headed for Wisconsin, "America's Dairyland".  Lots of farmland and cows along the way. Wisconsin is cheese country. The people here are even
called "cheeseheads".
We went by Milwaukee, the biggest city in the state. It is home to Miller "The beer that made
Milwaukee famous". It is also the hometown of Harley Davidson.
When we arrived at our campground at Fort McCoy we were immediately hit with severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings. We managed to avoid any tornadoes, however we weren't as lucky with the thunderstorm. What gives? 92 degrees one minute then raining cats and dogs the next.
One ray of sunshine though, I did get to put another state sticker on the RLB. It's the little things that gets me through.
The strange things you SEE along the roadside
