Day 15

We got to sleep in this morning or so I thought - turns out we lost another hour and I slept right through it.
Once we got up we had to move campsites. Only had to move about 100 yards but heck even on shore leave we have to get underway.
After we got all set up - AGAIN- we headed to The Alamo. There were probably more people there today than when they fought Santa Anna but it was still pretty cool. We saw the shrine to all the men who fought and died while defending the Alamo.
Of course Dad had to read everything. Maybe he's going to build his own fort. Mom got a coffee mug that said "You may all go to hell and I will go to Texas". That's a famous quote by Davy Crockett.
We also went to the Riverwalk and had lunch. They had even turned the water emerald green for St Patricks Day.
We like Texas. The weather is nice and Dad cooked us steak. What more could I ask for.
All this fun has made me tired.
So goodnight all
