Day Five / Spring Trip 2012

Today we took a little trip to Salt Lake City and walked around the grounds at the Mormon Temple.
What a perfect day for it. It was 75 degrees and sunny. It did get a little breezy but not too bad,
The Temple and the grounds are beautiful especially during the spring time with all the tulips, daffodils and other flowers in full bloom.  Dad spent so much time studying things I was afraid he might be converting over to Mormonism.  Once he found out they abolished multiple wives back in 1890 I think he lost interest. Like he would really want more than one!!!!

How about this picture of Dad. Not sure that was the best choice of t-shirts to wear today.

Broken Halo????
We also walked around the City Creek Centre Mall. Just practicing before we get to the Mall of America. No shopping today though,  all our funds need to go for fuel.
We did get to see the capital building too.
Looks like we may get some rain later tonight and the wind has kicked up. We are leaving here tomorrow morning and heading to Wyoming. According to Weather Dad  it would be better than going to Colorado because of snow in the mountains. He's kind of making me nervous with all this snow talk.
One way or another we will get to Denver. There is a baseball game waiting for us.
